Free Admission at Half-time

More likely they'll raise ticket prices for season ticket holders who stay for more than one half.

Hell, charge $5 to $10 and fill the stands with loud, rowdy common folks for the second half

Are you serious? If you can pay a shite ton of money for season tickets or just get into the game at halftime for free, what are you going to do? Pretty obvious the reason they don't do this is because season ticket sales would plummet

We have the technology. Unscan your ticket when you leave, give or sell that ticket to someone...voila empty seat filled.

I think this is a great idea. it has some administration challenges but I think they could be overcome. party outside the stadium watching on TV and go to a specified location at the half and officials let people in to sit in "specified seats" of those that left and reported those seats now empty.
it would cause a riot if done incorrectly. people getting up to go to the head at the half could come back and find some yo-yo in their seat.

You would have to give your ticket stub back and they would give out first come first serve. Alot more work on them but would be worth getting five more dollars and butts in the seats. Brilliant idea.

It could end up selling more season tickets, because if people know they can watch part of the game and make some money back by selling their half time tickets to others, they might be more likely to pull the trigger.
ETA: Also you're lowering the bar for entry level participation and building more of a market by exposure to more people. After attending a few half time games, many of those people will be willing to pay for the full experience.
