This season more than any season before it exemplifies why a 8 to 10 team playoff system is needed. They should have done it a couple of years ago, and now here we are this season needing it more than ever. Smh

Here's the reality. And this is to our benefit so hang on tight...

Yes Alabama is weakened this season over their usual superpower. But they are still ridiculously good and could beat anyone in the country, UGA and OSU included. In fact IMO Bama would stomp OSU today.

Why is this to our benefit? Because this is why the committee has stuck with us at 5. Everyone knows it, but no one wants to admit it except the committee. Beating Bama is a bigger win than ANYONE ELSE in the entire country has. This is why Tennessee and LSU have had such favorable results in the playoff rankings.
