Frank Wilson's UTSA offense looks more interesting than LSU's !!! They are playing Arizona State now.
Is Wilson on the list of LSU HC candidates?

He could very well be head coach of LSU someday, but I doubt it will be in the next few years.

You have no clue if he is or isn't, so stop trying to act like you know. Frank will probably be given an interview when Les leaves, maybe just as a courtesy, but I doubt at this time he'd be offered. But.... Nobody knows anything for sure as of now.

If he had 3+ years of experience at UTSA he'd be a solid candidate. I still would take him. He's a damn good coach, and recruiter, not too many better.

ASU 3 UTSA 14. UTSA with a former walk-on QB, who plays great so far...

The Roadrunners are up 14-3!

Regarding your question, I think Frank would deserve a serious look, but there are so many unknown factors, it's really difficult to speculate about at this time.

Very surprised and impressed. ASU isn't great, but you would expect a Pac12 team to walk over a school like UTSA. Geaux Frank!

If he is successful over the next 5 years at UTSA, he'all be getting offers from all over. I think he'll be able to pull a few under the radar Nola guys every year, and will recruit TX well. Just going to be hard with all the in state competition.

it's time to look towards the future. And back in Nov. I actually 'backed' Miles. After the off-season/Wisconsin game...he's lost it. Should be a TD board for the LSU Search exclusively IMHO

Yep, just like his players. Seem to get better when they get from under him.

He needs to have a solid year but I don't think it's a bad move to consider. He knows the program. He can recruit with the best of em and wouldn't be too expensive. Obviously aleva would have to miss on some bigger names but I wouldn't be upset if he got a shot.
