Not every junior gets slot or above slot. Sometimes there's a take it or leave it final offer and this may be it for him.

This number was agreed to on the telephone whenever they called him the night of the draft. I'm happy for him. Feel like he's worth a little more than that, but he'll just have to go out and prove them wrong!

True. Nonie as a 3rd rounder signed for $950 with an assigned value of $620,100. The Angels 1st rounder got $2.15 mil with an assigned value of $2,660,800.

ETA: On another note, is there a particular website that shows who has signed and for how much? Mlb.com only indicates who has signed but doesn't show how much.
