I thought of this last night, and I've been wondering when someone would post about it.

We make it to the ship and it doesn't matter.

Canceling this game does nothing.

He was not going to win or lose it vs McNeese.

What he does vs the SEC and maybe Syracuse will determine his Heisman fate.

everytime people mention his stats they will say "in only 11 games". It might help his cause.

Heisman voters are retards so you just have to get your name in the conversation, then perform big in the last two weeks of the season.

For him to have any chance in the first place, LSU is likely going to have to be one of the final four teams. The award has become somewhat of a de facto "best player on the best team" award. Missing last night doesn't hurt his chances all that much. His chance at the award was always more dependent on LSU's team success than his individual numbers. Just ask the last RB to win the award, Ingram. He arguably wasn't even the best RB in SEC, let alone the country

Considering most have won it from one big game against one big opponent I think he has time. The big debate usually happens at the end of the season.

It's gonna be tough considering he and Harris will be splitting votes.

Probably would have only played one half anyway. People will mention his stats with only 11 games played. Not too worried

Gone.

But, he wouldn't have played more than a half anyway.

let's be honest. his chances are very, very low. this was probably the nail in the coffin

however, whatever chance he has is, sadly, based in our team performance (and it's sad b/c it's an individual award)

If he's getting 200 yds vs top SEC competition at the end of the year and LSU wins the West, he may get in the conversation

Hurts, period.

Less stats and less duties now that kickoffs were taken from him.

NO shot now. If you think otherwise, I'm sorry for your loss.

If he deserves it, he'll win it. The Heisman is won in the last 2-3 weeks of the season. Miles wasn't going to leave LF in the game long enough tonight to rack up huge stats anyway.
