I don't think he'll win the heisman.

BUT, the reason for that is Derrius Guice. That guy is a maniac out there. Reminiscent of the honey badger on returns.

He runs wild, and actually out gained Fournette once this year.

As usual .. We remain stacked at running back.

I'd like to see them split carries and both stay fresh

Will be a hell of a combo at RB. Both are tough runners and both can break long runs from anywhere.

Separate styles as well.

Against the defenses Fournette struggled against, Guice usually came in and started bashing them.

The Heisman is worthless.
LF7 will have an awesome pro career without that award.

Who knows what could happen next season? LF7 could win it.

Worthless? Overrated, maybe. But completely worthless? Get serious.

While it's true that I don't own a crystal ball, and while it's also true that your assessment of DG's ability is correct, I'm going to respectfully disagree, only because LF does really seem to be that generational type back. As in I'll not see the likes of him again before a 6 foot hole is dug, and a box containing my remains are rendered therein.

Individual awards are nice but should never be a goal in a team sport.
I would love to see the team win the West and I'm sure that is Founetts goal as well.

We will be passing too much for a rb to win the heisman on our team

I'd like to see an offense designed around the split back set with fournette and Guice with misdirection and the screen game, but we won't see that.

Why is everyone so obsessed with the Heisman? As much as anything in this media dominated society, the Heisman is awarded post facto to the most valuable player on a team that finishes in the mix for the national championship. The media looks at the whole picture and jumps on the chosen bandwagon after each week's games. Ask yourself this: if both LF7 and Henry had ended up with exactly 1850 yds, which of those two would the committee have chosen?

Let's see LF7 run for another 1800 next year with the Tigers making the playoffs, and let the chips fall where they may. It'll mean much more next year anyway.
