It bothers me that fans of other sec teams bashing fournette for not playing in bowl game. Calling him selfish and he's letting his team down.

LF7 has done all he could for LSU and representing our home state. Now it's time for him to take care of he and his daughters welfare. All it would take is one person to fall on that ankle wrong and it would set him back with combine / pro day preparations and testing.

100%. An accident in the bowl (a meaningless one at that), could cost him millions of front end money. Anything could happen to him once he gets in the league, so it's best to maximize his rookie money (and those big signing bonuses the top 10 pull in).
