He has 'that lean' that Emmitt Smith had. Plus he's one big muscle!

I've been comparing him to Curtis Martin in my mind. Not huge, but big; all muscle. But one reason I keep drawing that comparison is that both have such great vision they make finding the holes effortless. Almost like they are taking their time, and then boom... 7yds downfield.

How in the world will Cam be able to limit this guy's carries. I feel like Coach Cam will have the hardest and easiest job in CFB.

I've thought about this too. It has a historical paralell with the 1988 Notre Dame team. Had Brooks, Green, Johnson, and Watters as RBs and an option QB in Tony Rice. Watters was hurt a big chunk of that season.

Obviously, an option team can manage multiple RB's carries "better" (they only passed 14% of the time). The point is that of the +580 times they ran the ball, 3 players had over 100 carries. The key was making first downs and ND mixed it up where they ran, which played into spreading the carries around. By the way, they had 6 players with over 30 carries avg. over 4yds/carry, 5 over 5yds/carry.

Now don't scoff at the 582 rush attempts ND had that year. LSU attempted 591 in 2011 (more games however). And the carries were spread around on a %basis similar to ND, but without running QB most of the year.LSU has Magee, LF, Williams, and Hilliard (primarily) to contend with.

So I think the secret is making first downs IN ADDITION TO play/player selection. With Ford & Ware (bulk of 2011 carries) there was alot of in-and-out rushes. And they sucked on 3rd down. With a Cam offense (TE maybe!?!?) and an off balance attack I can see it being managed in a way where both Magee and LF have over 120 carries for the year.

And people think he's going to be "eased in"

I wouldn't be surprised if he got the majority of the carries vs Wisconsin.

I'm sure that now that he's in college he can go full out and not hold back. I'm trying not to hype him up too much.

We seem to be doing just fine against Au lately. If we had to choose we would save him for their in state rival

But hey, that's just me. We don't need to choose at all;)

I think The Mick tackles with a sidearm. Admittedly, that may not work.
