Fournette ran the 40 in the low 4.41

Talked to some guys on the team they said fournette is going to tear shite up this year.
He looks like the one of the fastest on the team.
He is really coming into his own on another level.
The new running back coach is helping out big time on the small things.
He ran the the 40 about a week ago in 4.41, 4.43 at 230 lbs.

I assume that was in "shells", down wind and nobody trying to tackle him. Stats are great, but when you line up and get hit everything changes. LF7 will get his but "40" stats don't mean a thing.

I get what you're saying, but it actually does mean something for evaluating abilities.
That's exactly why HS, colleges, and NFL all use it to determine speed and quickness.
A 230 lb back running a 4.41 is well, special.
