You realize this doesn't affect his per game average, right?

Fournette has the most rushing yards in the FBS

ESPN has him at 12th?

He's 1st in YPG, not total yards.

The thing that will hurt LF's Heisman chances though is that it's Les Miles' philosophy to ensure starters get plenty of rest vs. cupcakes. I believe this is the correct philosophy BTW.

I'm not a big fan of the Bob Stoops philosophy of letting Heisman candidates like Jason White or Sam Bradford keep slinging in the second half so they can rack up 400 yards and 6 TDs against cupcakes.

Wouldn't surprise me if LF ran for less than 100 against Syracuse. 8 carries for 75 yards or something like that.

Syracuse is actually 3rd in the country in rush defenese. But that's probably more based on their competition and that they're one of the 20 worst teams in passing against. So everyone has just been throwing on them.

I would love to see Les work on the passing game this week.

I downvoted because your stats are wrong.
ETA: He's not even 1st in YPG, Chubb is 8.4, Buga is 8.2

That being said he is a beast, given another game he would be at the top.

He has the highest ypg, not the most rushing yards. He is 12th in rushing yards and some guy from Indiana leads in that category.

You say YPG but then reference YPC?

Yes, LF7 release down the seam for the deep TD ball.
