Skip, Ryan Clark and Stephen A. Smith discussing Fournette winning the heisman.

Skip says he loves Fournette and thinks he's amazing. Doesn't think he will end up winning the heisman though because B. Harris will not be good enough to keep Alabama and Ole Miss honest, forcing Fournette to not rush for enough yards.

Ryan Clark says Fournette will absolutely win the heisman. No questions asked.

Smith leaned towards Clark's argument. Made the comment that Fournette will not be able to do this in the NFL though because he can't just run over everybody. Clark brought up A. Peterson, and said people said the same about him.

yeah since every one of Fournettes runs is a result of him trucking someone.

Ole miss couldn't stop fournette last year

It's laughable people are using them to argue against him. He's better and the OL is better. Hell, the QB will be better as well.

I'm at work and ESPN is always on my tv in here. I don't pay attention to much of it, but when I hear them talking about LSU or Fournette (which has happened a whole lot lately) I turn it up and listen.

Makes me think nobody watches our games, just read the box scores.

We haven't let him throw it much, and minus the drops, he would have had a real solid game against cuse.

Hmmm...

LSU statistics vs. Ole Miss in 2014

Passing: 8-16, 142 yds, 1 TD, 2 INTs
Rushing: 55 attempts, 264 yds

Yep, LSU sure kept it balanced in that one...

The way to attack Ole Miss was with the power running game last season. I'm sure that is probably still the scouting report. We will get to see what Florida does against them first. It looks like LSU matches up favorably versus Florida and Ole Miss in that their weaknesses on defense are defending the run. Kiffin went away from it in their game against Ole Miss and it resulted in interceptions a couple of times. Alabama is the matchup where LSU has to have Harris pull a Mettenberger 2012 to win.

I usually dont agree with 24 but he's right this time. They pick a hot story and argue both sides.

Stephen A is clueless when it comes to football, altho he is light years ahead of where he was this time last yr.

Skip is just Skip. He and Les could have an amazing conversation.

To be fair Skip threw in UF, Arkansas and Tamu in there as well.

Clark says he doesnt think he will win or hope he will win, he will win. His argument is he knows harris can make the throws, he spent time down here. They just havent had the need for it.

Smith leaned towards winning because he said dont give me Florida, they havent convinced me yet, bama has taken a step back and Ole Miss looks like they are just trying to out score every body. That Lf cant afford to have a 20 carries for 50 yard game just needs to go over 100. He did say that he will still have a couple more 200+ yard games. Some qbs are putting up impressive numbers, but they arent box office players.

Positigers are Ryan Clark, Negatigers are Skip Bayless.

Skip said Ole Miss could stop LF if they want to. Clark said LSU was able to do what they pleased on the ground against Ole Miss last season without a qb.

Yeah that was a dumb argument. He said they could stuff the box to stop him, but then they would have WRs running wide open. He just said he didn't have the confidence in Harris hitting those open receivers. Pointed out his stats against Syracuse, but obviously he didn't watch the game because his stats don't tell the story. There were a few dropped passes that would have put him closer to the 70% completion mark.

Yeah I didnt understand that either. He said he was 8/16 but was not confident he could hit a receiver wide open waving for the ball?
