Since anytime a gump posts here it is assumed to be a troll job here is the required comment:
Geaux crawl back under whatever skirt-less trailer you crawled out from under!
However, it is a valid question even if a troll job. So looking at geauxnavybeatbama's list
1- Gurley
2- Marshall
3- Davis
4- Henry
5- Collins
I'd say that's probable. As usual, there's a lot of competition to be the best back in the SEC and LF is a true freshman.
Considering that LSU will be breaking in a new QB, whether it be a true frosh also or a RS Frosh, we may see even more run heavy offense as compared to the last couple of years. Worth noting that the perception that LSU passed more when Cam came on board is wrong (rush%'s: 2013- 61.6%, 2012- 59.6%, 2011- 67.9%). I would expect closer to 2011 numbers.
However, the same could be said about both UGA and Bama and of course fat Bret is going to be running the ball alot even if he had a good QB. So of the top guys, no one of them will have a significant #carry advantage like Collins did last year.
Oh, don't forget any Auburn RB. Corey Grant could be the guy; I don't know much about Artis-Payne. But that system will produce rush yardage even with a 2nd tier back. With a 1st tier back, even more.
So if LSU's QB & OL play (4 of 5 returning) is at least "good" LF has a chance to break into the top-5. I'd say if he does, then he has lived up to expectations (hype aside... realistic LSU staff expectations).

Gurley
Henry
Davis
Collins
Auburn's top back
I think fournette will be an 800 yard to 1000 yard type guy and right outside of the top 5

Look for JH33 2.0. Some carries early and build up for the big games at the end of the season.

If he would of showed up early I would say 1000 yrd back this year bc we need him. Bama didn't need their freshman back. Hope he's got that play book and is staying in it. This guys awareness is far above average. I think our line is much better then bama's was also.

I know in my heart and head what Magee does this year is going to "shock" some others in the SEC. The kid produces, just hard to give him carries over JH33

At the end of the year the yardage totals might be as you predicted. But Fournette will be the best back.
