Jarell Martin - F - Grizzlies Jarell Martin suffered a broken foot and will be out indefinitely. It's a tough start for the 2015 first round and he almost certainly won't be ready for the opener. Martin wasn't going to be in the rotation to start the year, but foot injuries have caused several big men problems these days. If the Grizzlies become short-handed, expect guys like Jarnell Stokes and Brandan Wright to get more minutes. Source: Ronald Tillery on Twitter Sep 2 - 8:09 PM

That sucks!

He wasn't riding on one of those hover board things, huh?

That sucks.

But I saw broken foot and was worried it was a football player so I'm relieved.

Oh GEEZ, I glanced at your subject line and thought Jerald Hawkins. Don't scare me like that!

I understand what you're getting at but its kind of a dick thing to say at same time. Martin was big player for us last year. Feel bad for him but thank god he went first round so he isn't getting cut

If we can get through the first game we will be alright. Always seems like the season opener is our Achilles for someone going down on the line. Prayers said, fingers crossed...

Martin plays for the Memphis Grizzlies. Mickey plays for the Celtics.

I initially thought the same thing and freaked but didn't even open the thread.. Then I realized it was the former basketball player. Still sucks for him though and hope he recovers quick.
