I know years like 04, 08, 09 aren't necessarily memorable, but this was the golden era of LSU Football, with so many good and great players who helped make this program what it was: a strong, elite title contender more often than not. We had some true bad asses on those rosters, not a bunch of self-annointed "savages" that have never won shite and live off of the accomplishments of those who came before. I realize this is a quite scathing statement but its the truth.

I also realize we haven't won it all since 2007, but the 2011 team should always be remembered as champions for what they did accomplish that year. We could use a few of them baws rn.

I hope we can trend back to those years soon.

The fake reverse we ran 80 times against UF in 2007 is an all time great play and we should bring that play back. We should build our whole offense on that.

It's going to be such a major dichotomy honoring the 10 year anniversary of the 2007 national champions at halftime of the Auburn game when the score will likely be

Auburn - 35
LSU - 0

Should we hold a TD memorial service for what used to be great tiger football?

Florida '04, Auburn '08, and Georgia '09 are some of the more memorable games I've watched. Even in "down" years, this football program has delivered some of the biggest thrills of my life. God help me I love this team. It might get worse before it gets better, but it WILL get better.

Stoops.

Well said brother.

Add Ole Miss 2014 to that list too. Huge underdog against a top ranked team and that young group dug deep and remembered what it meant to wear the purple and gold.

What a ride.

Marcus Spears is one is one of my favorite players of all time. But he, Booger, Ryan Clark on a national level and countless others on a local level have to take some responsibility for buying into and heralding for this kangaroo court that allowed this hire to happen.

I respect their love and efforts for LSU and their knowledge and skill in the game of football, but they are NOT university administrators, any more than some fat frick local talk radio jockey is qualified to be the head of staff at a football program like LSU.

These guys need to stay in their lanes and not try to meddle in things that are simply outside their areas of expertise.

I'll always have love for those guys, but they need to take their share of responsibility for this embarrassment and do all they can to pressure those in power to admit the mistake they all made and do something to fix it as soon as possible to make up for their part in this imo.

And these two clowns don't deserve to be in the same stratosphere as the guys pictured above, but they need to be called out regardless:

All time great safety Jesse Daniels, who told Bo 'Bojack Horseface' Pelini that we had to blitz against UT in that awful Monday game.
