He would have been a better HC than Orgeron. Seriously! Ed went back to classic ole miss tampering ogre when he intervened in the Troy game. Only took him 4 games to break his promise of learning his lesson

If Matt Canada somehow gets a full time HC job somewhere one day because of this, then O running him off may have been a blessing in disguise for him.

this could be interesting, Canada has always needed to be a HC, we've heard the same thing over and over now, at NC State, at Pitt, here, he wants things his way, and he will make everyone miserable if he doesn't get it.

thats not necessarily a terrible quality. our starting 11 talent on offense last year was shite (relatively speaking), our number 1 WR had ZERO touchdowns, Canada was pulling points and numbers out of pure thin air, the frickin guy can coach.

If he surpasses expectations this year, and LSU doesn't impress it will be a PR nightmare for LSU football to endure. If he ends up getting the permanent job, he would absolutely be ranked higher in the media head coach rankings than Orgeron. How would that look?
