He played flag football at LSU because he couldn't play for LSU. Dude was a freak. Me and buddy would always talk about how bad it sucks he can't play anymore. Happy for him that he got a shot

DB's story is one of my favorite...can't help but pull for the guy with all of the shite that he has been through.
I remember when he was rehabbing and you could just hear the determination in his posts here as he kept us updated on his progress

It was very clear he was on a different level than everyone else out there. I got to know him a bit and he was an extremely nice guy.

Not directed to you but for the lsu fans who don't follow the saints, this isn't just a 'feel good' story... the dude is incredible... he will be a probowler before his time is up
