Did you really just say that. How'd Miles boring offense do against A&M the last two years?? How many undefeated seasons has A&M had?? When was the last time a team with an "exciting" offense won a national championship??

We had 14, 1st and 10s in the first half. We passed on 8 of them.

Honestly, going into the game with our experience on the o-line versus their completely new front 7, I would have bet we would have ran 13 out of the 14 times.

mostly because we ran alot of I formation against 9 in the box.

I missed the first half, so I watched a replay yesterday. After hearing so much about Wisconsin stacking the box, I was surprised to find it just wasn't so. Most of our runs were against a vanilla pre-snap alignment. There were seven in the box when we had two RBs and one TE. Their safety was quick to the box on the snap, but at most that put eight in the box.

Our problems seemed to be caused by the stunting rather than by numbers.

ust would have liked to see the second half offense plan right from the start. The idea of lining up and saying to the defense 'we are tougher than you and going to run right at you' may or may not prove a point, but it doesn't put points on the board. The objective is to score, not to prove a point.

What exactly are you saying? LSU threw the ball more in the first half than the second. The second half offense many like to see is a cumulative effect. LSU pounds the ball over and over, which some seem to hate. Come the 4th quarter though, fresh legs from the RBs that have been splitting carries all game, start to take over. It's a formula that has been very successful. Just gotta sit back and wait as a fan. Look at his numbers, Miles' style wins games. Period.

We didn't begin to move the ball until we stopped putting 8 on the line and started spreading out a little. It was just like TCU last year. Finally had lanes to run when they couldn't put 10 in the box.

This was the key in the 4th qtr. Like many already said when we went to 3 wides we ran the ball well. Just happy staff tried it and we succeeded. Hopefully we will incorporate the spread better. Look at A&M's offense you can still run out of a spread and usually easier.

Cam is a great OC, its difficult in the first game to know what you have. I think they realize now that they have some special WR's and look forward to what they do with them. Very disappointed in the TE position.

Your soap box called and wants you to STFU.

That said, the posters here have been pretty good about giving props and all to the staff and team. You, on the other hand, seem to be acting like a bitch.

Doesn't matter. These idiots don't care about winning. They only care about complaining.

There are people over here who are just as stupid. They are complaining about Georgia because the game was tied at halftime.

In all fairness, I think some of these simpletons don't realize there is another team out there with coaches who also are trying to make changes.

Good, we agree you're a douche.

By the way, it's obvious this is the greatest era of LSU football with Miles at the helm. Any fan should be happy with the overall performance of the last decade. But if you can't admit there has been some inexplicable losses and decisions during that time, you're a dumbass.

Uhhhh last year.

I cannot believe an LSU fan just referred to a Jimbo Fisher offense as "exciting".

actually it shouldn't even come up in this thread because Florida State and TAM have nothing in common. Fisher wants 50/50 pass/run, always has. they had 442 pass plays last year, 505 run plays.

TAM had 489 pass plays, 314 run plays (actually they had 465 run plays but 144 of those were Manziel calling his own number so he could be on sportscenter, and Hill had 7 runs himself, and Fisher doesn't do that)
