I meant to ask this sooner but how desolate were they up there after the beatdown. They were sooooooo sure they were going to win that game, I imagine it was epic

Most delusional fans in the nation by a mile.

They were mourning for Bout two weeks. All I hard two weeks leading up to it was how the hogs would win. That Monday after the game was a great day topped off with everyone at my work depressed and angry.

I've been out of Arkansas for about three years. Last season, my phone was ringing non-stop. People I hadn't talked to in a whole year were calling and sending me text messages. They were on my fb too.

This year, not a sound. I only called about three of them to rub their noses in it.

As Depeche Mode sang, "Enjoy the Silence."

I've got a ton of Hog friends but they don't really have any checks and balances in place if things start looking promising. Its like an out of control train running down hill. So glad LSU served as their dead end.

That's a great way of putting it.

This is right. They were so sure of a win it was comical. Most were predicting at least a 10 point win. The week after was awesome. The talk immediately turned to how LSU doesn't even have to recruit to be dominate yada yada yada. That's still the talk.

Lived in Arkansas most of my life, so most of my friends are Hog fans.

Social media, my cell phone, every conversation was full of WPS, Go Hogs, etc.

The Facebook timeline during the game was a dream. Right before the game, tons of excitement and expectation. When they were up 14-0, I think my Facebook overloaded. About an hour after that and beyond...

:crickets:

Not a word since; like the game never happened. Love it.

Like the poster above said....it's like the game NEVER happened. Great when we win but almost unbearable when we lose. I live in Fayetteville.

Saw a FB comment that Miles had no class, and it is only a game and wasn't important. Referees making bad calls.
