Most umps are not looking at the ball, but their assignments. It is quite interesting to watch the back judge during a play. The running back will blow past him and he is still looking at the line.

Was lucky enough to watch both the 5 for 5 and then later in the season the auburn game. I've never seen the entire crowd stay and continuously cheer more than 30 minutes after the game was over, but I be damn if that didn't happen after each of those wins. Pure bliss.
