For those wanting a new HC, there aren't any realistic candidates available...

Les won't be gone after this year, even if we don't win another game. Deal with it. Our AD gave him ridiculous contracts when he would bluff about Michigan and Arkansas.
Let's say he loses next year and is canned.
Who to replace him? There aren't any up and comers like Urban Meyer out there.
The typical Del Rio, Gruden, etc. etc. won't happen.
If Chip Kelly or Jim Harbaugh sucks, then that's a possibility, but it looks like they're NFL guys now through and through.
So who does it leave us in the college game?
Established coaches:
Jimbo Fisher- The only one I could see leaving right now. Likes FSU, but FSU won't up the $ for asst coaches or his salary.
Bronco Mendenhall- This guy is BYU all the way. Not a chance.
Bret Bielema- We could try and pry him away from Arky. He might even accept.
Dan Mullen- Meh
Tuberville- Rehashes are dumb.
Cutcliffe- too old
Butch Davis- Old, but would be awesome IMO.
Gary Patterson- Very average since going big time.
??? Anybody else???
Up and comers:
Kliff Kingsbury- NO.
Pat Narduzzi- MSU DC. No experience.
Mark Stoops- UK. Dude is doing work up there. Maybe...
Pickings are slim. But if this ship doesn't right, we need to start looking at it.

you're on here too. You get a hobby.
This thread is legitimate for those who can see objectively instead of through PG glasses.

Texas could have just about any coach they wanted and thy ended up with Charlie Strong.
Les needs to turn the offense over to Cam and start Harris at QB this weekend.

So "objectivity" is wanting to fire the most successful coach in school history after a loss? You continue to prove that you are an imbecile that has no objectivity and little to no football knowledge.

Charlie strong isn't a bad candidate. UT just waited way too long under mediocrity and now has no talent whatsoever.
LSU better be careful not to do the same.

No, objectivity is saying I want a coaching change if we go 5-7/6-6 this year and have anything less than 9 wins next year.
Would an elite program stand for this? Why do we act like we're an Ole miss type of program? Bama would never stand for this shite.

Clearly, UAB's coach knows more than CLM

Keep hoping for it man. You continue to revel and celebrate losses. Great "fan" you are.

That had more to do with the dumpster fire that is UT and its boosters than anything else.
Who would've thought Les would be as successful ad he's been. You would find options if it came to that but this same excuse comes up every year.

Is objectivity resting on your laurels?

Stand for what exactly? I can't wait to read this.

I want Moustache to be our coach

Doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result is idiocy.

First, I don't think we could get Jimbo back here. I'd take him in a second if he was interested.
Out of your list, I like Narduzzi the best. MSU's defense has been very good with him at the helm.
Stoops at Kentucky intrigues me, but I'd like to see a larger sample size. He's definitely recruiting well.
It certainly would be interesting to see what sort of interest the LSU job would garner if we got rid of Miles with the right timing. Change can't come soon enough for me. I've been done with Lester for a very long time.

How am I celebrating a loss? I am not happy just like all of you. I just realize what we're doing will not work. Luck always runs out at some point and saban recruits won't be walking thru that door. (07)
At some point, cheering for the Tigers becomes cheering for Les and mediocrity. However, I'll always cheer for the Tigers, no matter my disdain for the coaches. I'm just trying to see the positives here in possible change in the future.

If we are talking realistic replacements, then Mark Stoops is the best choice. I don't believe that Fisher will leave FSU, and Stoops has done some very good things at Kentucky.

You think Les was much of an up and comer when we hired him?
