For those of you who think we "know" what Harris is

If, for 5 straight years, you just put the names of all the 4 star QBs in a hat and had a goat pull one out each year, the odds you'd COMPLETELY MISS all 5 years are virtually fricking nil.

Out of the above............NONE could field a consisting passing attack or on occasion, even a not catastrophic attack.
So, you go on believing that a near statistical impossibility occurred and we got 5 straight guys rated like that who ALL were incompetent.
Cause THAT makes sense.

Its scheme and development, not all should be blamed on the player

If you can find one single post that says any one of those QBs wasted good coaching I'd be very impressed.....

Exactly. And other programs with solid coaches are never missing. It is ridiculous to think our passing game is because of the QB

I agree with your assessment BUT Harris "might" be ruined because of what this system has done to him and his confidence.

I may be wrong, but when people say "Harris sucks", I don't think they mean his ceiling is low. I think it means he's bad because he was never coached to reach his ceiling.

HS recruiting rankings, especially with QBs is a crapshoot a lot of times. I'd like to know what other schools actually offered scholarships to the ones we signed. I assume they all had several scholarship offers from other big time schools but I really don't know.
Based on the results on the field, JL and JJ were both very serviceable SEC QBs. B Harris has not been. AJ did not appear to be. No clue on rettig.

Harris is a kid with potential that's not being given much of a chance to realize it. You could go so far as to say being ruined by inept coaching

Hey. I'm always on record that you TRY the other guy if your current guy is struggling. Hell. Sometimes, it helps the guy you sit.
But, let's not pretend that there is any reasonable expectation that the next guy is going to break the pattern and moreover, let's not pretend that this has been a problem for FIVE STRAIGHT GUYS!

My point is, we don't even REALLY know what we have in Harris.
It's IMPOSSIBLE to know. He may really be a complete bust but, given the statistical improbability that we've had 5 straight busts...........

I know what the OP is saying, but his personal mechanics last week were some of the worst I've ever seen from any QB at any level. And I know he's been coached by more than this staff. So what's that all about??
