Anyone who doesn’t like Vitale is probably not much of a college basketball fan. He’s legendary. And he only covers big games. It’s a sign, folks.

I don't dislike the man, just his schtick. I just find it annoying.

I like him, and love the fact that he's calling our games. Like the OP says, Vitale means the game is big.
