Let me simplify this for you...
If they can convince us that trailering Mike is inhumane, then how hard will it be to convince us that shooting any animal is even more inhumane and therefore should be stopped?

It is not illegal to hunt just like it is not illegal for LSU to cage a tiger and parade it around Tiger Stadium. However, there are rules and regulations that come into play for both.
If you hunt without a license, or hunt game out of season, or exceed the daily bag limits, or violate all the other game laws that are too numerous to mention, it is likely that your hunting days will be numbered.
For LSU, there are guidelines it must follow in order to become an accredited tiger sanctuary. If LSU doesn't become accredited it will have an increasingly difficult task finding future Mike the tigers without purchasing them from black market breeders.
