If Orgeron weren't homegrown, no one would give him a second look for the LSU job based on his resume. No one.

No.

Again, I love O. There is no other coach in the world I would want to help steer my program if my coach were fired or died. But some people are better stop-gap guys than long-term solutions.

He just should no way, shape or form be in the top tier of coaching candidates for a job of this magnitude.

has done! He's done a fantastic job and he's not only beating these teams we are STILL setting LSU records people! Do y'all not understand that this isn't easy? Miles couldn't do it hell Saban couldn't even do it yet he is. I don't know wtf y'all have against this man but he's doing a super job.
hey Asshat
Why don't you list those top flight defenses that Les would not have beaten out of all those wins? The highest ranked rush defense was Southern Freaking Miss at 69. All of the rest of them were over 100. Let that sink in you freaking moron.
UF is the next to take a beating because they are a shadow of themselves with Cox and others out. So stop trying to sell this dline coach as the next big deal. Dude is t worth a shite and if they hire him, I'm dropping my tickets next year.

Can you read again you're just proving that you aren't the brightest cat in the den. I would like to see Herman here but to say he isn't doing a great job and that anyone could do this is retarded, it's not borderline it is. We have broken an LSU record on Offense almost every week, that's not easy or it wouldn't be an LSU record now would it? Let me break it down for you, every coach that has been here hasn't done what they are now doing on offense, so he either knows exactly what he's doing or he just hired the best OC we've ever had here at LSU apparently because it hasn't been done before. All I'm saying is if you discredit what O is doing only discredits yourself as an LSU football fan because what he's doing is unprecedented at LSU whether you like it or not. The pregidous against coach O is really amazing it's almost as bad as trump. He's doing a great job period. Again I'm not advocating he become our next HC but I don't condemn it either. I would prefer a guy like Herman myself just don't let it be Jimbo, that would be a huge msitake. I don't drink btw maybe I should lol

Never but there is more than a few that isn't dumb enough to allow emotions to overtake logic by hiring a career dline coach who no one would even offer a DC spot in 30 years for a reason

I hope they lose two just in case. I can't possibly root for this man to be the head coach at LSU.

I don't think I've ever had so many mixed emotions about a subject in my life.. Part of me says, I would rather take the proven coach like Jimbo or even Herman (who is my #1). The other part of me says, if we keep O and Aranda and get a top notch OC, we could really do big things and remain getting top recruits. People bring up the Ole Miss record, but I'm optimistic that people learn from their mistakes and can improve tremendously. I understand the arguement on both sides. I'm pretty interested to see how this plays out.

If losing one or two more games this year saves us from making this stupid hire and benefits us in the long run, then yes I am all for it.

Dabo swinney was wr coach at clemson. Just because he's not a oc or dc doesnt mean he cant steer the program in the right direction

and that is assuming O wins the last two games, which is also a big if.

are you really a Tiger fan?
if only you had a tad of confidence in this team.
why not be proud and pull for these guys the rest of the way.
WIN.

Was Jerry Stovall, from West Monroe and actually played at LSU, this well received and wanted by LSU fans? I say not even close because he was not a coonass, period.

I want JIMBO
I want Tom Herman.

He's a young "Offensive" Nick Saban type.

Already knows Aranda.

Herman-HC.
Aranda-DC
O-AHC/DL/RC.

That team would be money for LSU!

Hey, Houston just destroyed #5 Louisville 36-10.
Better grab TH before Texas does!

If Bradley Dale were interim and we had the same results would you be screaming for him to named head man? Of course you wouldn't because he's not "one of us".

Very few? If you honestly want a DL coach over Jimbo and Herman then you're rooting to set the program back 3-4 years.

My God, you are blind as a bat. What has Herman done more eye opening than O? O has not just brought this team to respect again but has crashed records in doing so. Are you banking on someone else coming in here and doing that right off the bat? Does it even concern you what a coaching change is going to do to our recruiting in the short run? Your blind faith is amazing.

You know this for sure? I'm pretty sick of everyone being "positive" when they don't know shite.
I can live with Fisher or Herman.... but Gundy? That's ludicrous.
