Maybe Jameis Winston will see this and pull a Leonard Fournette with his Heisman.

It looked like there were several dropelped passes. Has that been an issue?

Not this year. I think the defense just made some good plays. Last year was a different story though

but Landry has never dropped a pass. ever.

If you were only watching the Jenning's highlights then there were only 3 incompletions, one of them was miscommunication between QB/WR and the WR broke his route off late..no drop.

The other two...ball hit the TE in the hands, but it was kind of at an awkward angle..still should have caught it, and the comeback route the DB was all over the WR(Boone).

I didn't see a lot of drops in those 7 attempts, not an issue in general, no.

Jennings reminds me alot of matt flynn for some reason. Both have about the same skillset. They both run and throw the same. Aj might be a tad bit faster with a little stronger arm but not by much.

He has good feet for a passer, which reminds me of Flynn. He can reset his launchpoint quickly. He looks like he has a little bit of everything, a lot to like about Jennings.

So glad you posted this. Here are my observations, for what they are worth.

1. The incomplete passes - especially the out routs - should demonstrate to everyone how..... incredible/special/how much practice it took/whatever you'd like to say good about it....it is in what we had w/ZM and his receivers this year. Throwing and catching dart type out routes is TOUGH in these league, and we had that this year.

2. Jennings was trying to RUN FOR THE TD on that scramble. I love that mentality. You can see him see the hole at the end, and try to bust up through it and take that one about 75 on his feet.

3. The touch on AJ's passes is incredible. He seems to throw an incredibly catchable ball.

4. I cannot imagine how "cool" that young man is going to be over the next several years. Y'all remember when Shockley came in during the Georgia game in 2003? Granted, he was on the road and AJ wasn't, but still. Unbelievable showing for that young man.

5. With no offense to ZM, as we were lucky to get him, and his senior performance was incredible, it's going to be nice to have a QB that can run.

For he is the one.......

The one, all knowing and all seeing.....

For he is the Omnipotent.....SWAG of JENN!

I really liked the "CaucaSwag" in there at Center on that last drive too. Too bad they had to burn his RS this season. He'll start somewhere on the line this season and his presense there will make the OL better. I know that Camerban is really high on Pocic.

I really onling have post on the political board because it seems I like more intellectual discussion and originally I came to this board because I live in Mississippi and wanted to read about SEC, but actually I attended the university of Iowa for my Bachelor's and am very excited to see that we matched up with such a strong historical team as LSU, I had forgot about this site but when I saw LSU had us in the bowl I came back and there is so much good discussion here :cheer:

EDIT: I am very excited to see if your new quarterback can stack up to what he seems but even if we lose if you take me on the day we lost to Northern Iowa and today I am happy with anything!
