The Gas Lite - Opens at 6am and only serves alcohol (menus from various restaurants to have food delivered). They're at 2030 Wilshire Blvd. (at 20th Street) in Santa Monica.

It is kind of funny that the best food I've eaten in California has been on Oil Rigs.

Beware of the Jambalaya. I ordered some once in a restaurant in Atlanta and it came with carrots instead of rice. The waiter arrogantly explained that it was their "California Jambalaya"

It is rarely a good idea to eat "cajun food" outside of Louisiana. I have yet to find an exception as a matter of fact.

Anyplace west of Beaumont and east of Pass Christian that bills itself as having "great Cajun food"...doesn't.
