A friend won a football game day tour at an auction this weekend that includes stops at: Lawton Room, Hall of Champions, locker room, walk through the chute to the field. I am an invited guest. Anyone ever been on one of these? Photos ops must include: standing by #7's locker and touching the win bar right?

You haven't lived until you've put LF7's mouthpiece in your mouth.

Nope, occassionally will have seminars in there for student-athletes. The recruits and families hang out in there before games and watch other big games on the big screen. They have a bunch of food laid out for them as well. It's pretty outdated; I believe they are renovating soon.

Yep. I was fortunate enough to go on one. Got to tour all the facilities in the Football Operations Building (that's where the tour started) and ended in Tiger Stadium, where we exited the lockerroom and passed through the tunnel. Hit the win bard on the way through. Tiger Stadium, with the expanded South upper, looks amazing and impressive when the door to the tunnel opens.

I did this a few years ago: Lawton Center tour

Raised up the granddaughters to touch the Win Bar.

my friend and his wife won something similar 2 years ago i think. they won it via that coke bottle crap shite so i'm not even sure what they won...but it consisted of:

- 2 nights at lawton hall
- friday night in tiger stadium with les and players (maybe) watching high lights on big screen
- some tour of the trophy room and weight room
- some under the tent cocktail party morning of the game
- PMAC seats for the band
- 2 tix to game

I got to do this once courtesy of a friend who's a former football letterman. Having seen which doors to walk through, I'm pretty sure I could do it again if I wanted to.

I've been a few times as a guest of a recruit. The Lawton room is awesome. It's a great experience. Being on the field for the national anthem is something to really take in.

I use to work for the team. You will really enjoy the experience. Don't get your hopes up too much as it's not the biggest or lavish locker room and stuff. congrats!

I played in a lot of big sports games in HS (relative to white kid hs sports) and the feeling I got with all the guys about to run out the tunnel when they open those doors was unlike anything I've ever felt in my life. Goosebumps just thinking about it

If you see Tommy Moffit give some sort of hello or say you are a fan. Great guy. intimidating as all hell but he gets amp like no one ive seen on gameday

This and calling baton rouge. It's just so different being on the field the sound just shooting at you. Id catch myself almost tearing up from national anthem. It was the weirdest thing

Yup, got to go twice while I was in the TAF Collegiate Club.

Win Bar is a must. The hallway leading to it is awesome, has a wall of NFL helmets, and what player is on them. Has the home win streak and results on it. Has a list of "Big Games in Tiger Stadium" which is really cool. The locker room in the stadium is actually kind of weak.

The Lawton room is similar with the walls, but it does have all of the championship trophies (AP and BCS).

If you get a chance to go in the Football Ops building, they have every bowl trophy LSU has won. It is pretty freaking cool. Heisman's and other awards like that too.

P.S. Eat the grass, it tastes great. I even took some and saved it. Have it in a little plastic case with some purple, gold, and regular grass.

This is absolutely correct. I coached his kid at U-High when I was a student and during the UF 12' game I said hey coach. He literally walked over (we had front row seats in the student section and sat next to Orlando Gunn and wear his -7 NC ring) and talked with us for a solid 5-10 minutes before kickoff. He then setup a computer, not sure what he uses that for during the games.
