Will Coach Aranda continue to implement one of LSU's defensive best packages?

What changes should be made to this formation's depth chart?
• Kendell Beckwith has been moved to DE in previous games.
• Corey Thompson could play LB or Safety.
• Either Ed Paris or Kristian Fulton could potential start at Nickel or Dime.
• I doubt Devin White would be brought in.
• Michael Divinity could be listed higher.

I have some other formations that I put together as well. It didn't take much time after finishing the first one.

And here is my Depth Chart Cheat Sheet.

To be completely honest, outside of 2010 and 2011, I wasn't a fan of the Mustang. It felt like they converted on 3rd down more than they got a stop.

A 3 man front is going to contain at least two of the DTs on it to take up space and blockers.

I was just going to say that. Davon would most likely replace Lewis Neal imo

That's what happens when your corners are lined up 20 yards off the LOS.

I was thinking that too, but then I couldn't see them taking their leading sacker off the field. That's why I have Lewis Neal as the starter.

The 3-2-6 is my favorite formation against 4 wide sets in ncaa 14

It gives me aneurysms watching teams pick lsu apart when they run it

Was our Mustang package a one gap technique like what Aranda runs?

the 'Stang left with Chavis. don't think we saw it at all last year, though I think occasionally Steele rolled out some kinda 3 man front.

btw, did you do that graphic?

Godchaux is going to start. That is a mortal lock.

This. Godchaux is the best player on the defense arguably

Yes. I just grabbed a couple of images from the web and threw them together in Keynote. Putting my Depth Chart Cheat Sheet together took more time. I guess I decided to do the images after comparing it with the 3-4 based Way Too Early Depth Chart on Dandy Don's.

I have some other formations that I put together as well. I will put them up in the original post. It didn't take much time after finishing the first one.

Neal would be an OLB in a 3-4. Maybe Key too. I'm not sure we have 2 LBs this year so we ain't trotting out 4.

Could you imagine the headaches linemen will have trying to figure out which one of six db's will be blitzing next?

Nice job. Duke Riley scares me. Not sure what he brings to the defense.
