We should get an all Louisiana fly-over consisting of one B-52 out of Barksdale, flanked by two F-15s from the La ANG unit in New Orleans.
You think that Bama fly-over was loud, this one would loosen some tooth fillings! 12 true jets engines compared to 2 jet and 4 turbo-fans, no comparison.

B-52 out of Barksdale,
OPening night of the Shreveport Captains a few years ago they had scheduled a B-52 flyover. Everyone is waiting and nothing. Finally the game starts and in the top of the 3rd inning, out of freaking nowhere comes a B-52 right above the lights Scared the shite out of everyone!

For flyovers at Bama and Florida, the pilots are usually graduates. I never noticed that here.
Anyone know how to make that happen?

I am told the T45 pilot is a graduate.....Next week someone involved in the flyover is a former graduate. Not necessarily the pilot but a pilot who put it together....

I would have paid good money just for the late fly by.

I have called numerous times and sent dozens of e-mails to do a flyover. I have never gotten a response from anyone at LSU.

Don't forget the A-10's out of Barksdale as well. However, getting approval for a dissimilar aircraft flyby is hard to obtain. Dissimilar formations usually take special approval.

Not as hard as you would think. There is something called MARSA, military assumes responsibility for separation of aircraft, and the only approval would be the OPS Group commanders of the units involved.
