My biggest gripe about the game last night was that we had an extra week to prepare yet we had a better game plan versus Florida. Against Florida we used misdirection and even a flea flicker to keep the defense honest. Last night I didn't see anything different offense or defense than we tried versus Western Kentucky.

In contrast obviously Alabama noticed on tape how bad our CBs are at breaking a WR block on the edges and exploited that.

Why so vanilla versus Bama but Florida appeared to have a new game plan installed for?

We thought they would eventually get worn down against the run. Unfortunately they didn't.

The difference is that Florida averaged 1.8 ypc and Alabama averaged 4.5 ypc. I don't think Florida, Alabama or LSU is going to be all that successful when they can't stop the run and their QB has to win the game. It's not like Bama was loading the box either.
