It's gonna be a slugfest in Death Valley next Saturday.

6 of the last 9 years the score has been decided by 8 points or less.

8 of the last 9 games has been an average score of:
UF 20.3 - 20.8 LSU

with LSU winning 5 of those 8 games.

Florida coming in undefeated, coming off a HUGE Win, and coming in boasting one of the Nations Best Defenses.

LSU has really not faced adversity yet this season. I think we will face a lot come Saturday. Time to find out what our boys are really made of

Let's GEAUX!!!

When you watch the Gators play, their stadium is always packed. We really need our fans to pack TS like that and remain for the entirety of the game. It is time to pay those bitches back.

Do you not agree that this 2019 LSU is a bit different than the previous 9 versions??? Perhaps you can’t just ignore “recent history” altogether, but this season I think you are better served going with the eye test and this season’s numbers.

Oh and I think the 3rd-and17 situation in Austin is the very definition of adversity. If we punt there, pretty good chance we lose.

We ran up and down the field on TEXAS like a hot knife through butter! We carved them up all night! We scored willingly dude. How is that adversity? Once we had the lead we never looked back. We literally scored on every possession of the second half...Our offense probably knew it was likely they were gonna have a high probability to score on Texas. Florida's defense is NOT TEXAS bud.

They literally scored on every possession in the second half as well. If we do not make that play we could have possibly lost that game. Having to score on every possession is the definition of adversity, because we sure as hell knew they were going to score.

I’m so ready for this game. God I can’t wait to scream at this Florida team and make their day miserable. I’m ready to do my part

That stat while interesting doesn't surprise me, they have recently been tough, hard fought games. My Gator buddies are confident after beating Aubbie that they'll come to Death Valley and have a good chance to win. With Game Day in town it will be an electric day am looking forward to it.

Both Defenses are solid, they difference this year is obviously on offense. The Tigers won't take this game lightly and get the win with Burrow slinging the rock.

LSU by 14 b/c in Death Valley this Saturday it Sucks to be a Florida Gator.

Yeah well we’re about to see how good their defense is.

This is definitely facing adversity but this will be the best defense we have faced, by far. I don’t see Burrow having as much time to throw in the pocket as he’s had lately. I really wish we had Marshall for this game to take the top off defenses.

Just don’t see it. I’m telling y’all Joe is legit special. I think he lights them up and I don’t think Trask can swing with Joe.

I'm nervous...and excited

If LSU plays their A game, we win by 3 scores...we're that good on offense.

But I'm nervous that their D rattles our Offense...for the 1st time all year...possible turn overs or 3 and outs...

Muellen seems to be able to coach up his team for big games

....practice games are over. Now the real test.

O/L must protect Joe. Otherwise they'll hurt him.

Oh no doubt. It usually is (between LSU and Florida), if you take the Spurrier years out of the series history.

I really like LSU's chances to win pretty soundly for three reasons:

1. LSU's offense this year is unprecedented. You really can't compare this offense to any other they've ever had, because this has never happened. We haven't ever had a quarterback and passing game as efficient as this one. So Florida has never seen this version of LSU.

2. They beat us up pretty good last year, enough to where our team has a chip on their shoulder about it. I'd award LSU as having the emotional edge.

3. This thing is setting up to be classic Tiger Stadium. Night game, ESPN Gameday, the "A" crowd will be in attendance (the people who actually own the season tickets will more than likely be going to this one), and with beer being sold in the stadium it will only add fuel to the rowdiness. This game will be the TRUE indicator of how loud the stadium can get now with the expansion and now beer being sold.

In years past I'd be worried about Florida bringing pressure on Burrow. This year, I almost hope they do. Because at that point, Brady will dial up screens to CEH and Emery where the little short dump off passes gain us 20, 30 yards a pop. This is where having Brady is going to end up being the best hire LSU has made in quite a while. Everybody says that Mullen is so good, but we have a guy who was a coach in the NFL. I like our guy better. Professional trumps good at the college level any day of the week.
