OK, back then I was really following LSU recruiting (daily, to the best I can from North Carolina)...and Morris was a sleeper recruit....

He was mentioned on premium boards of more like a back up plan as I recall, and lets be honest, he wasn't a big time national recruit..he wasn't even considered top LA player....good but not great

But he is a great player, and we learned that real quick

Morris is a great example of how there is no way the recruiting services can possibly know and analyize all these player around the country correctly... it's impossible.. too many players, too many miles to cover

Alright, It's getting kind of old. Miles plays favorites and you know it. That's why we suck.

Miles is just coming into his golden years here IMO. Good things to come tiger fans. Let's enjoy it!

Morris is actually yet another example of the coaches being the only folks that actually know and grade recruits for their teams.

The services do minimal work for their paid crap and the rantards just spew their analyses based on that aforementioned POS.

well the top 10 teams in recruiting every year, are usually in the top every year relative to wins and losses....so it does work

So, while the stars are fun for fans, it does carry some weight...Great players, get a lot of offers...and stars

Every now and then, a hidden jewel is found

methinks you may be confusing a lot of the cause-and-effect here.

e.g., when ND gets a commitment the player goes from a 1-star to a 3-star quickly, etc, etc.

Things look completely different in the offseason. Even experienced, top-notch professionals who do scouting for a living get it wrong from time to time. So when some idiot who makes bold claims about a rookie being anything of the extreme (absolutely amazing, or utterly terrible), it shows how idiotic they truly are.

One positive thing, maybe Cadello will stop posting.
