“There’s no excuse for the total drop off that a powerhouse like LSU is experiencing this season. I get you lost a lot of talent , but you’re suppose to be a factory. This would never happen at Ohio State, Clemson or Alabama. A total indictment on Coach O.”

100% accurate. No argument against it.

Going into the season with 2 true freshmen as your backup QBs is on Coach O also

Yea they never lost 20 kids to the nfl & 34 total in 1 offseason

I think people have been saying this all season. Elite programs should not have the bottom fall out like we have.

No way any of those teams make the playoffs losing 30+ players.

Here's another way of looking at it; those others teams don't lose that many players because they convince guys to come back. That's part of recruiting too.

Ohio State went 6-7, 3-5 in the B1G, and lost it's last 4 games in the year between Tressell and Meyer.

Coaching matters.

Alabama loses a lot of players every year and their staff is raided constantly. LSU has to be better

What separates the average, good and elite is their ability to maintain that success.

Tired of the fans making excuses for whoever the coach is year after year that we under perform. We need a coach not a manager!

BTW that 6-7 coach between Tressell and Meyer has his new team 8-0 and ranked #7.

The comment likely has more to do with LSU fielding an embarrassingly bad team than just simply “not being good enough to be a playoff team”.

Never this many

LSU actually hadn’t been bad losing underclassmen under O. They just all happened in one offseason

Alabama has more early entrants since 17’.

I totally agree LSU has lost a ton, but again, the defense allowing bomb after bomb is more than just young players.
