When we play a team with a pulse, they just abuse us on the first couple of drives. Wide open plays.

Why are we so easy to scheme against:

Predictable
Poorly prepared

I think we are not prepared for any new looks.

Although I hate to agree, I thought the Tigers were not prepared to play. I have never seen such receivers so open with no tiger defense player with end 10 yards. I also thought we were suppose to have the best offense line since Les has been here. O well we need to move on. We have a brutal schedule so Les had better get the boys ready in a hurry.

But you have. Wiscy running through gaping holes in our D just this year.

I really think we do a good job of adjustments, I just don't understand why we need so damn many of them.

Teams watch game films. We are very predictable. There is no doubt what we want to do. All of these make us easily defensible against teams with talent. Hell ULM defenses is great in the 1st half but some wanted to say they were a great defensive unit.

I am more referencing our inability to stop anyone, but more specifically the wide open nature. Our D just gets gashed every opening series.

I'll play Captain Obvious here:

Having a QB that can scan the field and pump-fake rather than stay locked in on one receiver makes a big difference.

Jennings appears to lack confidence. He just does not have that "control" on the field and in the huddle that great QBs have.

Harris has confidence, but hasn't mastered the technical aspect of the position. But, no question Harris has all the physical tools and ability to be a great one.

They are both young, and they both need playing time this season if they are going to improve in those areas.

Harris is the future of this offense. If Les doesn't get him some significant playing time this season, it will be a waste.
