With a healthy defensive roster, and Aggies as the motivation/opponent... hopefully our D will be stout for 4 QTRS.

Edit: Florida was the "21", and interestingly, they only scored 7 in the second half.

Shhhh none of the "Aranda is overpaid" crowd wants to hear that the defense may just wear down later in games due to our Offense being so damn efficient!

People act like the defense gets its doors blown off all 4 quarters

They play exponentially better in the first half. I’m not sure why they look instantly worse in the second half of games.

Or natural human nature of letting up intensity when we're up several scores and they can't stop us.

i agree completely that the defense usually starts strong, but the Ole miss game we dominated TOP, so for at least that game, your theory doesnt hold up

Certainly illustrates this 'crappy defense' we've all been hearing about doesn't it.....

the Ole miss game
Most of that can be traced to single player missed assignments.

So we haven’t shut out a single team for the first half? Not NW State. Not Arkansas. Not Vandy...
