The offense is a different story. History would indicate that it'll be "meh" at best but it's possible they could be very good.

true, but who says we don’t have that this year? i could definitely see 2 guys from this receiver group becoming starters in the NFL at some point. also at least 1 RB with emery

Everytime me and my buddy go out drinking we end up back at the house drunk watching highlights from old games fist pumping like they’re live . It’s craxy, I can’t remember every game like it was yesterday dating back to 2001 EXCEPT years 2014-2016, I get those mixed up. Prolly because that was when I was 24-26 and really going hard, it’s all a haze

i agree, but at the same time having an offense that can move the ball helps your defense tremendously whether you’re putting up points or not. last year i thought our defense balled out against bama, but simply couldn’t get off the field. had we been able to move the ball, and even score a couple times, bama wouldn’t have put up 29 and it would have been a close game. i don’t think we need an “elite” offense, but we certainly need a good one.
