Fire CLM now...Give Ed Orgeron HC job

I just would like to see what the board thinks about firing CLM now during the season and placing Ed Orgeron in charge as an interim with potential consideration for full time HC responsibilities. I think a change is needed now for our 2017 class sake bc if it's done now and Cam finally gets to call the offense how he sees without limitations (CLM) and the offense (season) does/goes well then maybe we can keep the majority of the class intact. If not, then you can get rid of Cam at seasons end in addition to whomever else LSU wants to get rid of on staff. What do y'all think?

the administration needs to take all the time they need to make the best decision for the program going forward, as long as their plans don't include miles for next season.

Already been discussed several times. Miles just needs to go and I don't really care if it's now or after the last game. Orgeron shouldn't be considered an option for head coach at all. He's just fine where he is and I hope whoever the next coach is can keep him on the staff. He's a great asset to any staff.

Les should have rode off into the sunset on the backs of his players last year. He was carried off the field after a win. Now there's a legit chance that they give him the Lane Kiffin treatment.

Im okay with giving him the interim (not excited about it though) bu im 100% not okay with him getting the HC job.
I think he could be fine, and probably get the same production Les has gotten the past 3-4 years. I don't see him ever being elite, like Herman or Jimbo.
It's a decent fall back plan though, like plan Q

Why not Smacker Miles? Since we're considering proven failures, why not a complete unknown?
Get this through your head. Coach O is not well enough thought of to land a coordinator gig at a P5 school. He makes 1/2 what our coordinators make and 16% what the University of Houston's head coach makes. And you want to make this guy head coach.

If you promote a coordinator to interim HC, especially one that's never been a HC, there's a chance you can keep that coordinator once you hire your new HC to a contract.
If you do this with a position coach that has had HC experience, you will likely lose them once you hire your new contract HC.
If we're going to go this general route, Arranda should be the interim HC, IMO.

I'm ok with this. keep current DC - Dave A., DB coach - Corey Raymond get rid of current OC -Cam C., STC- Bradley DB.Give Coach O a few years with Minimum Money and Use that Extra money to get a top Offensive Cord.
