I caught some of his show for like the first time last night prior to the LSU-Auburn game.
After hearing some of the callers I see why he needs to be a homer. Survival.

He actually said the other day that while back in "the old days", he knew some recruiting services were financed by certain schools. In return, of course, certain schools' recruits were rated higher. Now, though, "those days are over & each recruiting service stands on its own merits & give honest evaluations". Not mentioning that 24/7 is owned by a bama alum & Rivals used to be...or still is in some fashion.

I feel like the show being aired on SEC network will eventually go away. I believe they thought when they put it on tv it would fill some time which you have to do on a 24 hr channel, but also they thought that he would grow the show to be more national(or at least outside of the state of Alabama) and not rely on callers as much. I don't think the show is unbearable when he is interviewing an analyst mainly because he isn't bad at asking a question and letting his guest talk. The call in segments are just bad and a lot of yelling. I don't see why you can't just get rid of him and put on an old game or something in that time slot.
