Coaches don't always make the right moves and players don't always execute as they should, but when LSU baseball ends the regular season playing for both an SEC title and national seed they are damn well doing a hell of a lot right.

For the record, I upvoted the OP and even you because this reminds me of one weekend in the late 80's or early 90's when they actually put fans inside of the field in foul territory for a Moo State series that was for the SEC. that game had the attendance record at one point.

Yep. Never mind LSU leads the SEC West. To them, Mainieri sucks and has nothing to do with LSU being in first in the West. Must suck to be miserable all the time.

Mainieri has been the most consistent coach on campus for a while. I'll don't understand people wanting him gone.

It's always been part of the mystique of being an LSU fan. Hating on the coach win or lose. It's this and many other things that have branded LSU fans as the worst. It's not that hard to understand why. No one can deny our passion though! Geaux Tigers!

Regardless of the UF outcome, LSU doesn't control the overall SEC winner. UK/Florida do. If Florida wins today, then it could be a 3 way tie if UK and LSU take 2 of 3 next week. Also if UF wins today, only chance LSU has for sole ownership of the overall SEC championship is to sweep MSU and UK to take 2 of 3.

Down votes are probably from LSUBaseballGod82 and some other douchefan that would rather predict LSU to lose then hope we win. I never understand those type of fans.
