Around town for a couple days before the game I was seeing way more UCF fans, like 10 to 1. At the game it seemed pretty even, with maybe a slight edge to UCF 55/45 split. Seems like they had a lot of students there. What did everyone else see?

don't think the crowd would have even filled up their stadium, plus, they were playing for their third natty in a row

Empty seats all over the top section of the stadium, a lot of non purple in the LSU sections (like whatever color your coat is), but probably a 40-45% turnout for us.

They had a larger turnout, and seemed louder in the stadium.

They came in full of pride and heart. Like us in the 2000's when we were the new shite.

Eta: Except we kinda stayed there.

It's a tough trip to make without being able to drive it.

LSU fans could learn a few things about spirit from I hate to say it, but A&M. Solid fans at home games.

Visiting Pheonix around the holidays and checking out the Grand Canyon plus other sites is well worth it.

I was there and realized pretty quickly that noise on 3rd really doesn’t become a factor when a team runs up tempo as fast as they do. They have the play and snap the ball before the crowd really has a chance to yell. Also, they really didn’t have the ball that much so there wasn’t that many opportunities. On the occasions they didn’t go up tempo, there was some noise. Didn’t help when we’d get loud and force a stop on third, only to have it negated by an offsides or some other foul.

Also, at least in section 106, the bulk of the fans were either a bit older or a bit younger (I.e. patents and children). Good fans, but probably a lot to ask them to scream for four hours.

I walked around the stadium. Thought there were more LSU fans. The UCF sections had a bunch of empty rows. But the UCF fans did a good job making noise.
