Two weeks ago this site was on the Les train, loving his quirks and his goofy ways with words and his good guy personality. He loses 2 games that they where outmatched talent wise especially on the O line and D line, and everyone on here wants him fired. LSU fan base don't deserve a man as good Les, go get your high tech offensive mind and see what he does. Les has a record at LSU that other programs only dream about.

Not true at all.

tRant has been split for years on CLM. I am one of the ones who never wanted him. I'm glad that everyone's else's eyes have been opened. But I'd rather be alone hating less if we were still undefeated.

Personally, I still love these things about him, but the product on the field has become difficult to watch.

I think we all saw how fickle the LSU fan base is after looking at how many empty seats there were when the game was still in hand.

That's why I never leave until I see all zeros on the clock. You are there to support the team for sixty minutes.

Also, there are only 12-13 LSU games a year. What are you leaving to go home to? Wouldn't you be upset if you left and LSU actually came back and won?

Five games stand out to me that I saw in person and thank God I didn't leave because I would have missed a hell of a comeback:

LSU at Auburn in 1992 (trailed 27-6, took the lead at 28-27, lost 28-30)
LSU vs UH in 1996 (trailed 34-14, won 35-34)
LSU at Ole Miss in 1998 (trailed 31-10, lost in OT 37-31)
LSU vs Ole Miss in 2006 (trailed 20-7 late, won in OT)
LSU vs Troy in 2008 (trailed 31-3, won 40-31)

ETA: LSU at UK in 2002 (trailed 27-30 with fifteen seconds left, Bluegrass Miracle happened!)

1 of those losses was to Arkansas. That is a major problem.

This fan base was split on Les from the inception. He had a underwhelming resume. We didn't know anything about him. He's not who many wanted. He was also our transition coach in many's eyes. Coming out of the tunnel with that Madonna headset, calling timeout after an interception and blowing a huge 2nd half lead to a qb that transferred a year earlier from the program put him behind many fans' 8 ball. I wanted him gone after "clock it gate". I'd say it's never been better than 50-50 for his support.

I've been a fan long before Saban and even some of the wins these days are not as much fun because we have the talent to play so much better. That was certainly not always the case.

This isn't a fan base. It has become a lynch mob.

I'm not one of these fans that your talking about.Overall I like Les and I know that there are a lot of hit and misses in the coach hiring department. We don't need to make irrational decisions with the future of our program. I also think the people leaving the game in the 3rd quarter are spoiled little pussies and should support the team. But where the frick do you get this notion that Arkansas outmatched us talent wise?
