Fewer Penalties Yesterday

7 for 50 yards. I know there were a few that cause LSU to get behind the chains but they seemed to be picking up the long 3rd downs when needed.

Also I know one penalty was intentional to have better spot for the punt but it was declined. Do declined penalties go into the penalty stat?

Declined penalties never happened stat wise. Same for offsetting.

10/4 I wasn't sure how that worked. Still 7 is an improvement

There were a couple unintentionall penalties that were declined too. I wouldn't call it much better. Lack of turnovers has made this easier to stomach to this point I would say.
