look,
the school built the stadium....
the school runs the stadium....
it sets the rules....
it can take away block seating if fans dont come/leave early....
it can take away songs from tgbftl....
free market.....
flipside.....fans don't have to show up and it looks embarrasing on tv....free market.

My wife is a supervisor FESS. She works the suites gate and gets cursed out every week. FESS told LSU security that they were making a mistake when they decided to enforce the bag rule half way through the season. FESS does have some crappy people working for them. Can't expect much for $10/ hour.

Gate 6......FESS woman told she had to pee so bad she was gonna mf'ing pop....useless pos.....My 12 yr old son told me he had never heard a woman speak that way

You think he wants people to see it like that? Hardly...he wants everybody in their seats or LSU gets screwed majorly by losing out on concessions and everything else that is bought on campus.
He's got expectations and so do the fans for what they pay. I think that's fair. LSU still has mile-long lines just to get in the game in certain areas. I don't get it. It ain't rocket science - get the people in the gates faster. Also, I hear they still have some kind of firm that will look at the traffic situation for the aTm game and make suggestions afterward...there is only one game after that for this year and we're still trying to figure things out. They could do better.

Based on everything else going on, I would wager LSU administration doesn't have a clue what goes on in the lines.
The fans would come if LSU just made some sensible decisions and had plans in place for long lines, enough drinks and food for concessions, cohesive and well planned traffic routes to and from games, and well labeled parking signs indicating where to go and if the lot is full.
There are hundreds of collegiate and NFL games around the country. LSU did have good plans a few years for all the items listed above, but not sure what has happened in leadership the past 2 seasons.

At a game last year , my wife and I had purchased plastic souvenir drinking cups before the game that we wanted to take home with us. We got to our gate with the two empty cups, one stacked inside the other, and we were told we had to throw them away.

LSU should take a lesson from DisneyWorld about the long lines. Make the lines part of the experience. Put up plaques about Tiger History. Movies of great Tiger Moments. Animotronics of Tiger greats retelling of their glory days at LSU!!
And maybe some scantily clad beer girls.

The sad part is that I'm pretty sure they do.
They actually sent out an apology e-mail to students after the 1st game because some people waited for about an hour and a half to get in because of a bad idea. To their credit, I think they fixed that issue. The other issues still seem to be there though.
