Per Sonny Shipp, Shelvin has a good week of practice. Hopefully he’s figured it out

So I just commented on this on another thread but I will repeat what I heard.

Fehoko is being kept out of the game as a precaution, he has a elbow injury that lingered from last week apparently. Was told he was good to go if the coaches gave him the green light to dress out. They decided against it because Breidon still has some pain in his joint.

Tyler Shelvin supposedly had a shift in his attitude this past month, been working hard to try to shed weight and be ready to make an impact in the middle. If he plays today or not idk, but don't give up on him just yet

He needs to tape it up, get a shot of that shite and get his arse out on the field. This is all you got big dude. After this season, you gotta get a job; it ain't like you're gonna play this game for a living.

I don't even know where to start.

A. He's got another year of eligibility.

B. He's certainly shown he's NFL capable.

C. If he would risk further injury or would be a liability out there at 50% speed, it is absolutely the right call to not play.

Unfortunate. Love watching the young man get after it but understand the staff taking precaution if he's still dealing with something.

Gonna miss 91 out there that's for sure. Hope the other guys can step up.

How bad arse would it be to see Shelvin come out and have a monster game?! Somewhere like 10 tackles, 4 TFL and maybe even a sack.

Sonny, the guy who said Fehoko was going to play, according to another poster this morning.

Yep, but he can help coach the backups. He's a leader. He can still contribute.

I agree, let him fill a gap (or two) long enough for White et al to respond.

Come on Tyler we pulling for you! You can do this, we know you can!

So Shelvin suddenly decided to give a damn and put forth some effort? That dude will be sucking wind after half a dozen plays. How much weight could he have shed in a week? The best we can hope for is that he can plug up the running lanes and force the Moo State RB or Fitz into the path of another LSU defender.

If we lose tonight, what happens on November 3rd doesn’t really mean much.

Exactly!!!^ Fehoko isn't a star of a DT, but he provides quality depth and from here on out, it's every man on deck. No more missing games because you just don't feel very well. (Jacob Philips)
