Just curious if anyone has the same vibe? After we won the FB championship, Heisman, went undefeated, etc. I thought to myself it could never get better than that. After seeing the BB team win the championship, have the best pitcher in BB, and the best overall player. Makes me wonder how do we top this? Don't worry, I've continued to renew all my tickets :-). But how does it get better than this? Only 67 days to football!!!

For me, it just punctuated how much fun this team was to follow, how proud of the team I am, and how much I wish there was a way to keep going even though we just won the whole damn thing.

Jay Johnson isn’t Ed Orgeron. His career isn’t getting sidetracked chasing after blondes. Jay will keep his head on straight.

I’m so confused as to why so many people think the chasing blondes things is his biggest issue. Nearly invariably, without Burrow under center, he failed pretty miserably everywhere

I feel like we are entering a golden era of LSU Athletics. We may not win natty’s every year but all of our major programs outside of men’s BB are top tier.

Ed got satisfied. He got lazy. I don’t think a decent coach has the wheels completely come off just because 1 player(even if he is the GOAT) leaves.

I get it. It's satisfying though. I've seen the pinnacle of the sport and I'm satisfied. My expectations won't be as high the next couple years, makes it much easier to enjoy.

With football I was kinda the same. I expected nothing in 20 and 21, and I was only slightly let down.

I don't think Jay let's the baseball program get that complacent though.
