LSU signs Nick Saban to coach football.

He's the to me now, but man, did he bring us to power.

i'll go with in-person favorite moments:

1) LSU v. Mich. St. 1996 Independence Bowl (because it was my first game)

2) 2001 v. Auburn. winning the West, rushing the field and smoking cigars

3) Skyler Green TD catch v. UGA in 03. turning point for our program

Flynn, Miles and Jean-Francois holding the trophy after the NCG. Never felt better as an LSU fan.

This is impossible. At the moment, I'm going with the LSU subs beating top-ranked UK in OT at the PMAC in the late-'70's. Later on/tomorrow I'll have another opinion.

Was this the one with the onside kick to start the game... or the second half? If so this is my favorite moment. It was so loud after the onside I couldn't hear myself yelling at the top of my lungs. Stole a piece of turf that night too.

Three come to mind.

In person, 2004 Sugar Bowl
1979 LSU-USC
2010, Flying to Baton Rouge with my 16 year old son to go to his first night game versus Florida. He will be following his Mom and Dad and going to LSU.
BTW, I hate losing like everyone else, but just great moments.

Many tied for the lead. One that sticks out is the memory of Lionel Turner's splashdown on Jason White to secure the '03 BCS championship. That play really epitomized the Tiger's dominance of the Sooners.

1. Warren Morris homerun in the CWS.

2. Sklyer Greens catch in 03. One of the most important plays in LSU football histroy IMHO.

3. The 4th downs against Florida in 07.
