Do we know how many tickets were sold for LSU? I know we're all excited to get the season started, just don't know how excited fans were to travel to Orlando yet again!

Of course it will be a home game for the criminoles...even giving the disruption from the hurricane

Not sure but hopefully it’ll be a better turnout than it’s been for LSU the last few times here for the Citrus bowl. There were apparently 25k tickets allocated for each team. If we have 25k there tomorrow it’ll be more than we’ve had ever in Orlando or at least in a long time.

Last year's fan turnout at the Citrus Bowl was the worst I've seen since the 2014 Outback Bowl. I'm expecting a lot more fans tomorrow night, but I don't think we will reach 25K.

I think most fans missed the bowl game in Orlando knowing that this trip was coming. The Orlando thing once in a blue moon is doable, two trips in a year is unaffordable for most people especially with kids.

I do not know people going like I usually do. Unfortunately fans are going to let LSU team down by not showing up

My guess is the fan split will be 80/20 in favor of the Noles, maybe as bad as 85/15. LSU always gets outnumbered in Orlando even when the opponent has to travel much further. It will be domination by the home team on this ‘neutral’ field. Heck we even get outnumbered in the Superdome. It’s baffling, really.

Anyone could get as many tickets as you wanted from LSU. That usually means we did NOT sell all our allotment.

My guess is we'll have 20-22K which is way more than we have ever had for any game in Orlando.

Note: We'll have more fans in Vegas Labor Day weekend in 2024 versus SoCal than we are gonna have tomorrow in Orlando.

We simply do not travel as well as we used to, but times have changed, and it costs a shite ton more to travel than it did just five years ago. It's a luxury many people just can't afford these days. That being said, it is beyond embarrassing when our own fans sell their tickets to the enemy, resulting in a scene like we saw at the 2012 BCSCG against Bama and last year in the Superdome against FSU.

agreed. It’s shameful to say the least. FSU fans likely gobbled up a bunch of our tickets and will no doubt dilute the Tiger contingent even more.

Anecdotal I know, but I was just at a bar at Disney Springs and the bartender was telling me how much in force LSU fans have been over the last few days. He said LSU is bar far his favorite team to have a game in the area because we travel well and drink like fish. He also said he’s seen more this week than he has for the last couple of games.

There have been a ton at WDW since Friday and probably a bit before. On Friday night in the parks, a tourist from overseas stopped a member of our party (who had on a lsu shirt of course) and asked what LSU was and why so many people at Disney were dressed in LSU gear.

I got that question twice.

“What’s LSU?” In a genuine inquiry.

There were a vast amount of people who gave me Geaux Tigers but were not wearing LSU gear. So there were more fans at the parks than what we had seen.

I’m about to board a flight down. Expecting 20k mainly because we’ve played so much in Orlando recently, but I think we double that number next year in Vegas.

I had two people (both locals) as me in Epcot yesterday as well. One was a UCF student and the other was a UF fan and both had no clue LSU was playing here but said the sheer number of fans was impossible not to notice.
