So if you quit your team and watch the game what are you a player or a observer?

What if the player's life is better if he doesnt play in a bowl game?

Sounds like you wanna have it both ways to where both situations benefit you.

If you pay for a ticket, it's your money and you're free to sell it, give it away or leave whenever you want. Screw what amyone else says. It's not there place to tell you how to support the team. But, at the same time, it's the player's right to do what's best them and there family as well.

They may sit out the game but that doesn't erase all the other games they played. You're response made it seem like decided to sit out the season.

I like it. If they leave early, they are scum. I don't want to hear "business decision" or "protecting themselves". If you say this you are just a blind lemming following the narrative that has been fed to you.
