Well, I was there for all three games on the 5th row behind home plate with 20+ of my good friends. I think we represented pretty well. I understand we got a hat tip from the TV guys Saturday night for giving the homeplate ump a bunch of lip -- and he did stare us down some time in about the 7th. I took it as a badge of honor!!!!

We were right behind the other teams batter box and we were heckling every player on deck! All night long! Had a great time.

I do think we could provide a little more energy to the team. Back in the Bertman days and 09 and also the Bregman era, the team created their own energy and the fans were there to enjoy.
Things are different now. I hate to say it bc I love LSU and our kids and our fan base, but we are emotionally soft as a team and also as a fan base. Our team is comprised of a lot of perfectly groomed private school baseball prodigys who have always been coddled and praised. They're mainly insecure and emotionally weak batting cage junkies. We lack that swagger, as ironically evidenced by our pretty boy try hard efforts to create all of this sick swag by our senior middle infield leadership. It starts there, and permeates through the team and the fan base. It's really depressing bc could have a great team and program but right now we are just headed for another dusappointingly early postseason exit.
That is, unless, the fans can correct our attitude and provide the confidence and leadership that Kramer vacuums from the teams psyche. Get behind the kids and let them know they're cool already and it's not necessary to try so hard. There's literally no need for hair gel.

We have freshmen corner infielders, two sophomores in the outfield, a freshman Sunday starter, and a bullpen loaded with freshmen. The two seniors are insecure try hards who compete with other guys on the team

Dumb, you gotta factor in the setting of the game. Minute Maid isn't a joke, this was a BIG time environment. Most guys on our team have never played into that setting. It def. would be reasonable for some nerves to kick in. This will only help a young team grow and prepare for the road to Omaha.
