Well, I think PK has a point. He was Fonged to LSU. Most of us are sort of expecting his commitment. The breathlessness of the OP could only be justified if someone like Arch or Eli flipped.

No decision made by a recruit in July should ever be considered an "extinction level event". Maybe if we finally get the ball rolling on an NIL collective..

Edit: So we're talking about commitments from 3 different recruits.. Going from zero 5 stars & 11 total commits to 14 w/ three 5 stars would be a big deal. EXTINCTION LEVEL EVENT is still a bit of an overreaction & still not a fan of #BKTakeover. How about #LSUTakeover.

This time last year, #1 ranked Travis Hunter was committed to Florida State. He took 5 more visits to campus until he signed with Jackson State University in December. You can get excited, but commitments mean nothing with NIL

It's the same story for a lot of the top recruits from 2022 class.
July 2021:
#2 Walter Nolan names a top 5 not including A&M.
#3 Luther Burden is committed to OU.
#4 Mykel Williams committed to USC in June.
In August, Nolan announces his top 3 which now includes A&M. Commits to A&M in November.
Burden decommits in August & commits to Missouri in October.
Williams visits UGA twice in October. Decommits from USC/commits to UGA in October.

Right….. because LSU has NEVER had a verbal “commitment” change their mind and sign elsewhere on signing day.

Everyone knows a commitment in July doesn’t 110% mean they are coming to saud school. But considering how much BS has been going around about how BK can’t recruit, I’d say a 5* commitment right now is good news.
